Sponsor Tools:

 

ICOLabs is ICON Central Laboratories’ remote data access tool that enables sponsors to designate study-specific key indicators and custom reports to track specific study trends.

ICOLabs™ provides secure access to laboratory results, subject demographics and visit information. 

It offers standard screen views and reports to:

  • Access key indicators and study reports that you select to readily monitor your clinical trial
  • Review new or amended laboratory reports
  • View individual laboratory reports
  • Easily select study-specific filter criteria to create custom reports
  • Review and graph analyte trends
  • Monitor kit inventory at investigator sites

Access ICOlabs

SIMS is our Sample Inventory Management System - an interactive reporting module in ICOLabs for use by Sponsors and study teams. It provides near real-time, high-level traceability of all patient samples in a clinical trial (utilising ICON barcodes) as they move from accessioning through disposition. SIMS provides detailed sample inventory reports and graph/table based summaries of sample status and location with drill down capabilities.

SIMS proprietary design enables rapid insight into specimen status and location for all samples managed by ICON. This includes a unique mechanism to provide visibility of specimens assumed to be at sites and third party laboratories. SIMS data will help to locate samples more rapidly, in particular at critical study junctures like interim analysis and database lock. It provides valuable information for monitoring result status. Use cases include monitoring samples required for enrolment purposes and samples tested at third party laboratories.

Site Tools:

 

iSite is ICON Central Laboratories’ secure portal that provides any-time access to site-specific information. 

iSite features:

Lab Report eDelivery – Receive email notifications each time a lab report is ready for download and enable you to view all subject reports in an organised manner

Kit and Supply Ordering – Order new kits, view past orders, view site’s kit inventory, kit expiration information

Specimen Collection and Shipping Videos – Easy to follow animations of sites most common specimen collections and shipping instructions

Access iSite

LabView360

Efficient end-to-end sample management and tracking is very important within clinical trials. Knowing the exact location of a sample at any stage benefits sites, study teams and sponsors, and saves valuable time and resources. LabView360 is a new, custom designed application from ICON that streamlines end-to-end sample management for a myriad of benefits and efficiencies. In time, this application will digitise the entire chain of custody, delivering maximum visibility and control throughout the process.
